Some photos from Japan

Just got back to NYC from being in Tokyo for a wonderful three and a half days.

A-Z Vol. 1 has just hit the number one spot on the International charts there. We did a gig on Tuesday then an instore show at Tower records. We also did a load of interviews and a tv show that gets 10,000,000 viewers!

Russell is fitting in amazingly, it's like he's always been there. We'll be sad when we have to give him back to Bloc Party :( He plays a mean stylophone too.

We ran into our friend Erlend from Kings Of Convenience at the airport and he sang us "Norwegian Wood" accompanied by his two-string Ukulele.

Great photos! I wish I was in NYC to hear you guys play...when are you going to hit LA or the US on the west coast in general? The new song is great, and the lyrics especially!

Fancy that, Erlend Oye was just in Indonesia a few weeks ago and also took that ukulele everywhere and played Paul Simon's "You Can Call Me Al."

Speaking of which, I hope someone has the good sense to bring you guys back to Jakarta. Or maybe you guys could come back to South East Asia, at least. Couldn't make it to see you in Singapore last time.

Yeah Leif is back! He's been working with Leonard Cohen for the last couple of years. LC took a break recently cos of a back injury so we've got Leif with us until the summer.

aWESOME stuff!! 10 mill viewers is pretty nice - is any of this up on the web somewhere?
I know from a few friends of friends in Brighton that Russel is the nicest guy - fits in well with Ash guys and bloody good musician too - can't wait to see the 4 piece!
