For those that don't know there are two ash fantasy football leagues, ash-official league and the long running fan run A League Less Ordinary. Both are free to join and details of how you can, can be found here. It's not too late, as championships aren't won in August.

In the ash-official league Steven Kirkwood still leads the way, but is joined at the top by Fran Brady and Alan Kirkwood-Law one point behind in 3rd. Both had Fran and Alan had fantastic weeks, scoring over 70 points a piece.

In A League Less Ordinary Daniel Whitehouse is at the top, but not far behind are Jack Howells, Steven Kirkwood and Fran Brady.

Tim - Ichiban FC

Tim had a great week and shot up the table. Taking note of pre-season advice he had a solid backline with clean sheets from Cech, Vidic and Evra and a goal from Villa's Laursen. A star performance from Deco in midfield and a good tactical decision to drop West Ham's Mark Noble to bench before he received the first Premiership red card of the season, covered up his lack of goals upfront. Though with two Arsenal boys leading the line, I'm sure the goals will come.

dmh - Deception All-Stars

It was also a good week for dmh, which also saw him move up the table. A clean sheet from Cech, goal from Laursen and an assist from Everton's Lescott, added to two assists in midfield from Ashley Young and Arteta and a star performance from Deco. Not many goals to be had from the strikers this week and dmh also suffered from this. Though dmh may want to take note that defender Gary Cahill is likely to be out because of suspension soon (see watch out below) though that is what the subs bench is for!

Man Utd and Fulham aren't in action in Gameweek 3 due to Man U's involvement in the European Super Cup.

Bolton's Gary Cahill maybe the highest scoring 'cheap' defender at the moment (4.5m) but he was sent off last night during Bolton's League Cup defeat and well serve a suspension in the league.

Despite my pre-season prediction Daniel Agger hasn't started Liverpool's first two league games, missing out to Hyypia against Sunderland and Skrtel against Boro, but with Hyypia nursing a hamstring injury and no clean sheet at the weekend, will he return against Villa on Sunday?

Finally watch out for all of the transfer going on in the this the last week of the summer transfer window, and especially look out for those players leaving the Premiership.
