Hmm... not sure I wanna talk about last weekend's footie, Stoke got a draw at Anfield and dmh moved above me in the ash-official league. Good weekend for a couple of the new boys with Hull also getting a draw against Everton, though West Brom fell to dmh's Villa.

I think for the first time this season dmh outscored second place Tim, so let's start with the Decepticon's...

Not many clean sheets to be had outside of Anfield but bargain buy Melchiot racked up six points. In midfield it was bonus points from Ashley Young and Arteta and a goal from Stephen Ireland covered for Deco having to stay in the team because none of dmh's sub played either. Bonus points and an assist from Berbatov and a goal from Agbonlahor lead the line.

For me Berbatov is a great buy, the media and Sky Sports have made out that he hasn't really got going yet, but United haven't got themselves going fully either. With a lack of much pre-season and it's not the easiest introduction into a team when your first two matches are away to Liverpool and Chelsea, but an assist in both matches points to the fact that there's likely to be more fantasy points to come from this fella. 9.4 isn't bad either for a top 4 team striker, compare it to Torres' 12.0 price tag (goals to come!!), and I would expect him to start most games, so will Rooney and Tevez, esp now Ronalo's back?

Wigan's Zaki didn't score last weekend or earn the Decepticon's many points as captain put he is also proving a popular choice as a cheaper stiker. Shaun Wright-Phillips price tag has just hit 8.0 with him being the top scorer midfielder at the mo, I'd buy him. Oh I have.

To Tim's Ichiban FC...

With Deco and Van Persie not playing Melchiot came into the team and got Tim six points, but once again it was Arsenal's Adebayor getting Tim the big points as captain. Barry also bonus points in midfield.

Last week I said Ferdinand was looking a good buy at 6.9 though United where about to play Chelsea and Ferdinand got booked and United didn't keep a clean sheet. Well you'd fancy them to probably keep one at home to Bolton? Especially with Vidic back from suspension.

This blog has been far too pro United but I think now is time to get their players in your team with their tricky early fixtures out of the way and home games against Bolton and West Brom coming up.

Sunderland were indifferent mid week in the Carling Cup so maybe now is the time to get a Villa front man in the side for the weekend? Or maybe you fancy going old school after Robbie Fowler completed 90 minutes for Blackburn in the cup last night... the guy's a legend. 4 minutes 33 second hat-trick hey Tim?

Speaking of Arsenal Denilson is an obvious choice for good buy in midfield, 6.4 and scoring loads of points. Hull this weekend.

Cahill is also back from injury and likely to score goals for Everton, though hopefully not this Saturday.

Deco and Carvalho are out for Chelsea for a few weeks so Alex is likely to step into partner Terry at the back and at 5.6 is a very cheap buy for a defender in a top side. Stoke this weekend, clean sheet? Also watch out if Belletti, listed as a defender, makes any more appearances for Chelsea in the the midifeld holding role. In the same way Kompany, also listed as a defender, has been playing in midfield for Man City.

Defoe to continue bagging for Pompey at home to Spurs?

Ahhh after writing this I might go and waste some points on more transfer... put my money where my mouth is!
